LionSteel fixed knives are available in various sizes and blade shapes. Think of drop point blades for all-round use, as well as more specialised shapes for bushcraft, hunting or tactical applications. The grind also varies by model. For example, there are thinner blades with a high flat grind, ideal for food preparation and dressing game with ease. For heavier work, such as bushcraft and survival tasks, there are thicker blades with a lower grind. The handles have also clearly been designed with practical use in mind. They are ergonomically shaped and fitted with subtle grooves or contours that provide extra grip and control.

LionSteel sheaths are made from sturdy leather or from kydex and nylon. A leather sheath gives the knife a classic look and carries comfortably on a belt. Kydex and nylon sheaths are more resistant to weather and dirt and often offer more options for attaching the knife to a backpack or other gear.

Just like for LionSteel pocket knives, LionSteel uses high-quality steels for the blades, such as MagnaCut, Böhler M390, Sleipner, Niolox and 3V. These steel types are known for their good edge retention, high wear resistance and reliability under intensive use. LionSteel also chooses quality for the handles.
