In terms of steel, BeaverCraft mainly selects 1066 carbon steel, which is known for its excellent toughness and ease of sharpening. Where corrosion resistance is required, BeaverCraft uses materials such as X50CrMoV15 and X45CrMoV15, both of which are high-quality corrosion-resistant steels that are also easy to sharpen yourself.

The handles of BeaverCraft fixed-blade knives are made of genuine European walnut wood. A fine wood type that does not require too much attention apart from the occasional beeswax or care oil.

BeaverCraft is a Ukrainian brand specialising in woodcarving tools, founded out of a desire to create high-quality tools. Unsatisfied with the existing options – which were often expensive and of poor quality – BeaverCraft was founded in late 2014 to bridge this gap.
