The **LionSteel M1** is a compact fixed knife from the famous LionSteel M collection. Sleek, Italian design, top-quality materials and an excellent finish are combined in this fixed knife for EDC use. A perfect knife to carry with you on a daily basis for all types of tasks. Stronger than a folding knife, but hardly bigger.


LionSteel chose the popular Böhler M390 steel. An Austrian type of super steel that retains its sharpness well. Also incredibly stainless, so perfect to carry with you on a daily basis. Sharpening might be a little trickier, but with the right technique and equipment it won’t be a problem. The spine of the blade is neatly rounded off as is custom for this prize-winning Italian brand. At the same time the edge is still sharp enough to scrape a firesteel when you build a fire. Because of its versatile droppoint shaped blade this knife can basically do anything. Use it in the kitchen, to clean small game, open boxes, or to cut feather sticks: this knife will always come in handy. You can also use put a lot more pressure on it than any other pocket knife because a fixed knife cannot close. For anyone who uses a knife on a daily basis this could also be an interesting option for when you are still deciding between a pocket knife and fixed knife.


The handle on the LionSteel M1 is made from rock-solid G10. A light-weight composite material made from glass fibre and plastic. Extremely abrasion-resistant and the texture offers you enough grip. Despite its size the handle feels great in hand. With average sized hands you can still reach a solid *four finger grip*. As is very characteristic for Lionsteel this handle also has wavy grip ridges. A subtle detail, but great for the eye and the hand.


You carry the LionSteel M1 with you in de included leather belt sheath. It has a belt loop (max. belt width of 5.0 cm) but this knife will also easily fit inside your pocket. The knife falls deeply into the sheath. To help you remove it LionSteel has attached a lanyard with a titanium bead. The paracord has been attached with a screw. Not very common, but very nice.

Richtig tolles Messer. Es macht Spaß es in die Hand zu nehmen. Die Größe ist optimal um damit nicht aufzufallen. Zum Wandern und Camping einfach perfekt.

Erg stevig door de "full tang" constructie en ondanks de kleine afmeting ligt de M1 goed in de hand.
Door de fijne staalsoort houd het met een zeer scherpe snede maat toch goed zelf te slijpen ( met de Spyderco)
Het is eigenlijk een soort van "wanahave" mesje in een bruikbare lederen sheath, alles erg mooi afgewerkt, heel erg bruikbaar ook voor de wat zwaardere taken. 
Past eventueel gewoon in je achterzak als je'm niet aan je riem wilt.
Deze moet je hebben..!
