I bought this axe to replace a similar one I use for splitting logs. The length, weight and balance are ideally suited for this. The handle offers a good grip and the blade does the job well. Anything bigger would not necessarily be any better unless you fancy yourself as a lumberjack!

Good axe didn’t have the number wait stamped on head had to way and measure it to know it was the right axe part from that a very good axe
