There should be a remark, to which size of axe handles it is suitable (as it is too small and having wrong curve for any Hultafors axe handle over 50 cm). Or the item could be available in 2 different sizes.

You could make your own from leather or wrap your axe in bank line, but for £11 why bother. These are thick leather and a quality item. Takes some time to secure as the laces are tight (as they need to be). I've treated with Beeswax (Skerper, from K&T) to condition and water proof the leather - excellent product.
