CRKT 2026: new designs, smart tools and trusted favourites
New pocket knives, smart EDC tools and trusted favourites
CRKT is also introducing an extensive new collection in 2026. Every year, the brand uses this moment to unveil new designs, refine existing models and further expand collaborations with well-known knifemakers. The 2026 launch once again shows how broad the CRKT range is, from ultra-light pocket knives and premium EDC to compact tools and robust fixed-blade knives. The absolute eye-catchers of this launch are the Counterpart and the Sero. At the same time, the other models clearly show that CRKT focuses on variety and practical, everyday use.
CRKT Counterpart series
The CRKT Counterpart series is without a doubt the star of this launch. Designer Ken Onion is known for his ergonomic and well-thought-out designs, and that clearly shows here. The Counterpart is designed for anyone looking for a lightweight and versatile pocket knife you can carry without thinking twice. Weighing just 59 grams, the Counterpart is barely noticeable in your pocket, yet always ready for use. During hiking or trekking trips, it’s ideal for cutting rope or opening packaging. In everyday life, it’s just as useful for small tasks like opening boxes or light wood carving. The series is available in three colours as well as a fully black version. The CRKT Counterpart Tactical stands out even more thanks to its all-black finish and tanto blade shape. This combination is exactly why it carries the ‘Tactical’ name. The blade is made from 12C27 stainless steel, offering a fine balance between sharpness, cutting performance and easy maintenance.
CRKT Sero series
With the CRKT Sero, the brand deliberately moves into a higher segment. Designed by Richard Rogers and featuring CPM S35VN stainless steel, the Sero shows that CRKT can confidently compete at a premium EDC level. This steel is known for its excellent edge retention and good corrosion resistance. The crossbar lock is suitable for both left- and right-handed users, and the flipper opens the knife smoothly thanks to IKBS ball bearings. The result is a pocket knife that feels great in use and is technically well executed. The CRKT Sero combines a clean, minimalist design with reliable performance and easily holds its own among the better EDC knives on the market.
CRKT Minimalist Wharncliffe 2385G Blackwashed D2, Multicolored Layered G10, neck knife, Alan Folts design
The CRKT Minimalist Wharncliffe returns in 2026 in a striking new version. The blackwashed D2 steel blade is paired with a multicoloured layered G10 handle. Designed by Alan Folts and still instantly recognisable thanks to its compact size and ergonomic shape. The finger grooves provide a stable three-finger grip, while the little finger rests on the lanyard. Jimping on the spine of the blade adds extra control during use. The wharncliffe blade shape excels at precision tasks such as opening packaging. The included polymer sheath makes it easy to carry around the neck or on the belt.
CRKT Q Compact series
The CRKT Q Compact is a smaller version of the well-known CRKT Q, designed by Richard Rogers. With a closed length of 10 cm, this is a handy pocket knife for everyday carry. The design is clearly related to the full-size Q, but more compact and positioned at a more accessible price point. This version is equipped with a crossbar lock, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed users. The blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel, delivering pleasant cutting performance, while the ergonomic handle feels surprisingly comfortable in hand.
CRKT C.U.T.
The CRKT C.U.T. is an ultra-compact EDC knife designed by Joe Wu. This model uses replaceable utility blades, ensuring you always work with a sharp cutting edge. The titanium handle is lightweight yet robust. In addition to the blade, the C.U.T. features a bottle opener, flat-head screwdriver and pry bar. With the pocket clip, you can carry it discreetly in your pocket, while the lanyard hole offers space for a lanyard or keyring.
CRKT HangPry
The CRKT HangPry, designed by Richard Rogers, is a super-compact pry bar. Made entirely from titanium and weighing just 20 grams, it’s barely noticeable to carry. Ideal for small everyday tasks such as opening a paint tin or scraping off a sticker.
CRKT Slag
The CRKT Slag was designed by Russ Kommer, a professional fishing and hunting guide. The pointed blade shape is inspired by knives used for field dressing game, but works just as well for everyday cutting tasks. Thanks to the assisted opening and flipper, the knife is quickly ready for use.
CRKT Razel
The CRKT Razel Compact 4, designed by Jon Graham, is a fixed-blade knife with a distinctive design. The hollow-ground cutting edge, chisel-like tip and sharp Veff serrations make this knife suitable for cutting, planing and scraping.
