Je confirme un commentaire précédent. Parfois un grain se détache et va rayer assez profondément la pierre. C'est peut etre lié à une erreur d'utilisation mais il n'y a aucun mode d'emploi fourni.

It flattens the scharpening stones (water and old based stones) well. Especially because of its large surf face. I cannot imagine buying the smaller one to flatten a larger stone.
