The **Fenix HM65R** is the most powerful head torch from the Fenix HM-collection. Because of the double light source you can choose between a broad beam and a focus beam. As such you can light up, up to 163 meters in front of you. Turn both light sources on at once and enjoy a very powerful 1400 lumen light. Combined with a weight of 97 grams and a burn time of up to 280 hours this head torch is perfect for challenging outdoor sports. Think of expeditions in the snow, trail running, but also climbing and cycling trips.

 ## How to use the Fenix HM65R

 You can control both light beams with the two separate switches. Both switches were designed as such that you can also easily use them while wearing gloves. One switch controls the broad beam, the other the focused beam. By holding one of the switches down you turn on the light. The light will immediately start in the mode last used. To switch beams or modes you briefly press the preferred switch. ### Broad light modes on the Fenix HM65R

* High: 400 lumens, burn time of approx. 20:00 hours
* Medium: 130 lumens, burn time of approx. 48 hours
* Low: 8 lumens, burn time of approx. 280 hours

### Focused beams on the Fenix HM65R

* Turbo: 1000 lumens, burn time of approx. 4 hours*
* High: 400 lumens, burn time of approx. 22 hours
* Medium: 130 lumens, burn time of approx. 42 hours
* Low: burn time of approx. 90 hours

*The burn time of the highest mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to the lower light mode due to temperature regulation.

You don't want the light to accidentally turn on during transport. To ensure it doesn't you can use the lock-out mode. To activate this mode the head torch needs to be turned on. Afterwards you press both switches at the same time. The light will confirm the mode by blinking four times. The head torch won't turn on now. To deactivate this mode you press both switches again. The light will start in the lowest light mode of the broad beam.

 ## Charging the Fenix HM65R

 By tilting the light you can find the USC-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the head is protected against water and dust. A such the USB-port also cannot be damaged. Want to check the battery status while charging the light? A blue charging indicator will show you the charging status. It will take up to 2 hours to charge the battery. As soon as it is fully charged the indicator will turn blue.

 The Fenix Hm65R comes with a 18650 Li-Ion battery. But you can also use it with two Cr123A batteries. The battery indictor does not only work as you charge the light. As soon as the light is turned off, the blue indicator will give you the current battery voltage. As such you can quickly see the battery voltage.

 ## Intelligent protection

 If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.

2 positieve zaken: 
- keuze tussen breedstraler en bundel 
- zit heel comfortabel
MAAR: niet in de buurt van kwaliteit van m'n nitecore. batterij ging al van moment één niet erg lang mee en na minder dan een jaar gaat de hoogste lichtstand amper 5 min mee. Nieuwe batterij lost het probleem niet op dus het is een electronica probleem. 
Nu noodgedwongen m'n 10jaar oude nitecore aan het gebruiken die het nog steeds perfect doet. 
Garantieaanvraag gedaan bij K&T, maar voorlopig nog geen reactie...

Lifght and powerfull. Absolutely worth it's money. It doesn't overheat when the surrounding isnt to warm. no problem with water, just don't change the battery in the rain.

Fijn en goedwerkende hoofdlamp. Zee van licht. En lange gebruiksduur. Snel en keurig verpakt ontvangen 

Erg prettige hoofdlamp; top! Ook de voorloper van deze lamp heb ik jarenlang probleemloos gebruikt, en ‘m bij een kennis, die ‘m zo mooi vond, achtergelaten.

De nieuwe opvolger besteld; echter na plm 6-7 maanden had ik met dit exemplaar (eenmaal) een probleem met opladen en ook eenmaal met ‘t aanzetten van de lamp. Vervolgens deed ie het weer om na een paar maanden opnieuw te weigeren. En het even later toch weer ‘gewoon’ te doen. Voelde niet goed en kontakt opgenomen met de service.

Terug gestuurd naar K&T; ze hebben ‘m daar uitgeprobeerd en (wat ik al vreesde) geen probleem vastgesteld, ook niet na 3 weken observatie.
Echter voor mij was de lamp onbetrouwbaar en wilde ‘m niet terug.
K&T reageerde prettig en hebben het aankoopbedrag terugbetaaald.

Dus een volle 10 voor service!! (dit had ik ook al eerder bij hen gemerkt).
Blijf graag, een erg tevreden, klant en meteen een nieuwe hoofdlamp bij hen besteld.
