The **WOOX AX1** is a sleek hand axe that brings together Italian design and American tradition. It is an all-round axe that is ideal for any bushcraft trip, but can also be put to good use in the garden. The axe comes with a premium leather overstrike guard.

## The head of the WOOX AX1

The head of this axe is forged by hand in Italy. The head is made from 1045 carbon steel. This is a tough, shock-resistant steel that is easy to sharpen. The head ends in a wide cutting edge, making the axe good for both small splitting work around the campsite and for making firesticks. Each axe head is shaped and finished by hand.

## The handle of the WOOX AX1

The handle is made from American hickory wood from the Appalachian Mountains. It is finished with Cerakote: a water-repellent, abrasion-resistant layer. The back of the handle has a diamond-shaped point that is excellent for effective breaking. The head and handle are assembled in the WOOX factory in America. Because the wood used for the handle is a natural product, each axe will look slightly different. Every axe is a unique masterpiece!
