The **TOPS Knives Earth Skills Knife ESK-01** was designed by Matt Graham. He is an athlete, martial artist and expert when it comes to pre-historic tools and weapons. Despite its length TOPS managed to keep the blade relatively thin: only 3.2 mm. As such you use this knife like a sort of machete. Damage caused by batoning is therefore not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.



The TOPS Earth Skills Knife has a massive blade made from 1095 steel. This is a type of carbon steel that is easy to sharpen. The scandi edge is easy to sharpen and adds strength to the blade. The provide you with enough grip the handle is made from micarta. A strong, light-weight material that can easily handle moisture.



This knife comes with a nice leather belt sheath. The carrying method was inspired by sheaths that were used by the Native Americans. You place your belt through the belt loop around the sheath. That is how you carry it between your belt and your jeans.
