This **SCANPAN Classic 24 cm wok** is a multi-functional pan and an absolute must-have. The rounded edges, combined with a large baking surface make it perfect for many cooking tasks. Stir-frying vegetables and meat, steam or simmer: anything is possible with this Danish pan.

 The pan is made from pressurized cast aluminium. Under 250 tons of pressure, melted aluminium is pressed into a mould to create a very stable and sturdy pan. As such bending is almost impossible. You can use the pan on all cooking hobs, except for induction.

 ## Scratch proof non-stick coating

 What really distinguishes this wok is the sublime non-stick coating. It is shaped by putting melted titanium on the aluminium pan. As such the pan can withstand temperatures up to 260 degrees and is easy to clean. In addition, this wok can withstand the use of metal tools. SCANPAN also claims that the pan is dishwasher proof but that it can affect the life of the pan.

 ## Environmentally-friendly pans

 For environmental reasons all SCANPAN pans are produced as 'fully green' pans. The pans, for instance, are made from 100% recycled aluminium and everything is done to minimize CO2 emissions. All SCANPAN pans are made in Denmark.
