This **Miyabi Toishi Pro Basic Sharpening Kit** is made for the *Miyabi Toishi Pro* sharpening stones. The set consists of a wooden base and a dressing stone. This allows you to hold your sharpening stone in the right place while sharpening, and take care of the stone after sharpening.


The base/sharpening stone holder is made of Hinoki wood: a cypress wood that is only found in Japan. The holder is made for sharpening stones measuring 21 x 7 cm, such as the Miyabi Toishi Pro sharpening stones. A non-slip mat of the same size ensures that the sharpening stone doesn't slide at all while you're using it. There are also two non-slip mats on the bottom of the holder. These, in turn, ensure that the holder doesn't go anywhere. So you know for certain that you can keep sharpening stably. 


The dressing stone allows your whetstone to keep offering top-level performance. The cleaning block is intended for cleaning water stones and generates a layer of sludge that has an extra polishing effect for finer water stones during sharpening. Thoroughly wet the dressing stone before use.
