## Olive wood handle

This set of Laguiole table knives is comprised of six steak knives with a handle made from stunning olive wood. A stunning Mediterranean wood that smells great. In this case the design does not contain steel bolsters. As such the knives are a little lighter than other Laguiole steak knives.

The spine of the handle is enhanced with the characterizing Laguiole detail: the famous bee. To make sure the set stays complete it comes in a wooden box.

## Blade made from X50CrMoV15 steel

The blade is made from X50Cr15MoV-steel. This is a type of steel that is used often by Western knife manufacturers. When it comes to steel, it is always a balance between strength, flexibility and corrosion resistance. X50CrMoV15 steel can handle rust and is very strong. As such the knives are amazing to use and can be sharpened at a 20-degree angle. Because these knives are enhanced with a smooth blade you can easily sharpen them if they lose some of their sharpness in time.
