Civivi Tamashii C19046-2 OD Green G10 fixed knife, Bob Terzuola design

I saw many reviews that the knife is not very sharp. And i was hesitant. But now that i got it in my hands i can tell you that the knife is hair popping sharp and the edge is nice and well polished. I make custom knives myself and i can tell you that with this angle you can get it any sharper. It is slightly thicker blade stock. So the only way to get it way sharper is to change the angle completely. It is a wonderful edc blade and an nice tactical blade. But it is too thick for any real food prep task. It will feel like a wedge. Gorgeous lines and finish. And it is really ergonomic and has a nice geometry so it doesn't slip out of your hands.

I like the design, and the fit/finish is good apart from the edge. Out of 15 knives tested today, including another with an upswept blade, this was the only one that would not cut a 5mm cable tie (flat side). After four attempts it barely left a mark, whereas all the others cut clean through on either the first or second attempt. A new knife should have a work-sharp edge no excuses. Not recommended.
