The **Benchmade 15500 Meatcrafter** is a hybrid hunting knife. Made for outdoor use to gut game while hunting, but also great in the kitchen. To process the freshly shot game.



The blade is made from CPM 154 steel. A stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. To make the Meatcrafter even sharper Benchmade enhanced the knife with their *SelectEdge* sharpening method. The edge is sharpened at a 14-degree angle for perfect sharpness. The blade is only 2 mm thick and enhanced with a filet-style shape.



The handle is made from Santoprene and enhanced with a striking, orange colour. This colour ensures you don't lose the knife as you go hunting. Orange is namely easy to find in the dark and in between vegetation. Ridges on the handle provide you with additional grip. Even during wet circumstances. The front of the handle has been enhanced with cut-outs for your fingers. Essential for certain cutting techniques you need when gutting game. Think, for instance, of filleting a fish, during which you need to keep your knife straight and horizontal.



The sheath is made from Boltaron. A solid material. With the sheath you can carry the knife on your belt or safely store it in your kitchen drawers.
