This **BeaverCraft C4 Whittling Sloyd Knife Oak** is a large wood carving knife. You use it to remove a lot of material. To roughly cut your project to size. After which you can finish it using a finer knife.



The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.



The handle is made from oak wood. A nice and strong type of wood. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!

Le couteau semble solide, il coupe très bien. J'ai hâte de l'offrir à ma fille pour remplacer son opinel, que je ne trouve pas idéal pour la sculpture. Bon rapport qualité/prix. A voir à l'usage par rapport au Mora du même gabarit.
