This **BeaverCraft SK5S spoon knife** is a fine wood carving knife for hollowing out spoons and cups. This spoon knife was designed to quickly remove a lot of material. It has a radius of approx. 29 mm. Use it for quick, coarser tasks. Afterwards you can use other spoon knives to add a fine finish to the surface. The blade is sharpened on two sides, making it perfect for left and right-handed use.



The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.



The handle is made from oak wood. A strong type of wood that is a little more fancy than standard ash wood. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!



This knife comes with a simple leather sheath.
