Around the block? Bring a Modestone notebook along

A notebook might not sound like the most exciting item in your kit. Until you need to write something down in the middle of a rain shower. Modestone makes notebooks for exactly those kinds of moments. The Finnish brand was already available at Knivesandtools, but now gets considerably more space in our range. Time to get to know the new models.

Small enough for your pocket

You’ll only really carry a notebook if it doesn’t get in the way. That’s why several compact Modestone notebooks have been added to the range. The smallest models measure 76 x 130 mm. Need a bit more writing space? Then there are also pads measuring 96 x 148 mm. Thanks to the spiral at the top, you can flip the pages easily and write comfortably while holding the pad in your hand. Perfect for a packing list, coordinates, measurements, a quick sketch or that one brilliant idea that naturally pops into your head right in the middle of a hike.

For bigger plans

Need more space? Then the new C5 models are worth a look. These A5 notebooks have the spiral on the side and offer more space for detailed notes and drawings. Just like the smaller Modestone notebooks, they’re made for use in conditions where a standard notebook is less practical. A rainy hike, a damp camping table or a wet workspace? You can still write your notes there too.

Light in the dark

A striking new addition is the Modestone GA303 with Glowpad. As the name suggests, this version glows in the dark. Handy when you want to jot something down at the campsite in the evening, or quickly find your notebook again in the dark. And secretly, it just looks fun too.

Also new: the Modestone EDC pouch

Modestone doesn’t stop at paper. New to the range is the green Modestone P33 EDC pouch. A compact pouch that keeps your small essentials together. Think of your notebook, pen, torch or other EDC gear. That way, you’ve got everything you use regularly in one place.
