I wanted an everyday carry that was legal, didnt look threatening if I pulled it out and saw the Victorinox. It has a sharp blade and several other useful bits - the blade steel is excellent for the sort of occasional use I need but came sharp and with minimal touching up is razor sharp now. Sturdy and well made and it doesn't look like a combat knife.

Bought as a present with wood collecting and whittling in mind. Recipient extremely impressed with the knife both functionally and aesthetically. It has a nice sturdy weight to it while retaining a low overall profile. The saw can go through wrist-thick branches with ease and putting a double edge on the Awl/Reamer makes it very effective at working wood. One of the pricier Victorinox knives but definitely worth its cost in regards to utility.
