The **Silky Bigboy 2000 Outback Edition** is a version of the Silky Bigboy that was specifically designed for hunters and bushcraft enthusiasts. The curved saw blade is 36 cm long. As such you can easily cut through trunks up to 18 cm thick. The curved blade ensures that the saw stays in place during use. For additional strength you can use both hands. 

## Saw for bushcraft and hunting purposes

What is the difference between this saw and the regular Silky Bigboy? The saw blade of this Bigboy Outback Edition is thicker and stronger, making it 100% outdoor proof. The saw blade and the serrations were also enhanced with a black coating of a nickel/tin mix. This extends the life of the saw blade. Also, the colour of the saw blade is dark and non-reflective. As such you are less visible in the dark. Great as you go hunting. You lock the blade in two different positions with the lock. Is the saw closed? If so the sharp serrations are safely stored in the handle. It comes with a nylon storage case with zipper.

## Using the Silky Bigboy Outback Edition

The blade of this Silky saw is very hard. As such it will be amazing to use, but it does require a little attention as you use it. This saw is a pull saw. This means that the blade cannot bend as you use it. Make sure that when moving it forward the blade is never forced. This could cause it to break. As with any saw: let the saw do the work and don't force anything. This won't wear you out as much and it will benefit the life of the saw. By holding the handle in many different parts you can control how much wood you remove. Holding it close to the blade means less pressure on the blade and little wood removal. As such you can work accurately. When you hold the handle further back the pressure will be bigger, enabling you to work faster, but less precise.

## Maintaining the Silky Bigboy 2000 Outback Edition

Always dry the saw after use and store it somewhere dry in the included holster. It is also important to make sure the saw blade stays clean because it could affect the function of the saw. You can easily clean the blade with olive oil.

Meiner Meinung nach ist dies die perfekte Säge für Bushcrafter, Waldarbeiter und jeden, der in seinem Garten verschiedensten Sägearbeiten nachkommen möchte. Ein wirklich durchdachtes Werkzeug was sich durch eine sehr hohe Qualität auszeichnet! Ich kann die Säge zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Und der Service von Knivesandtool ist zudem unübertroffen!!

Uno strumento eccezionale che vale tutti i soldi spesi. Ieri ci ho tagliato un vecchio olivo morto con branche di 30 cm di diametro. Una motosega.

La scie est très bien.
Par contre l'étui n'est pas celui prévu dans la description du produit.
