This is a not a sharpener but four or possibly five sharpeners. And they all seem to work perfectly. It is very easy to use and i have brought back into use five knives in no time at all. The best was an old serrated bread knife and for the first time ever i was able to keep the serrations working and give it a keen edge. Grips the bread, slides through easily, hardly any crumbs. The Blademedic is big enough to hold comfortably but very neat and hardly takes any space. If you want only one sharpener in the house, buy this.

Bought for son-in-law who is very pleased with the overall quality. I was very impressed with the speed it took to arrive from the Netherlands - only a few days when many other items were held up by the pre-Christmas postal strikes.
