The Kershaw Leek is a slim, compact pocket knife with an assisted opening, designed by Ken Onion. It might seem a bit much to have assisted opening for a typical small EDC pocket knife, but it's great that you don't have to put a lot of effort into opening the knife. You can also easily close it with one hand. Safety is guaranteed by the liner lock and the additional lock which prevents the knife from accidentally opening. This final lock slides over the tip of the blade when the knife is closed. You can easily remove this extra lock if you wish to.  
  


The handle of this pocket knife is made of corrosion-resistant steel, which makes the knife look very high-end. Because the knife is small and slim, its weight remains low. The pocket clip is functional and attractive, and can be attached in two different ways: tip up and tip down.

Van een ideaal EDC-mesje gesproken.  De Kershaw 1660 Leek voldoet 100% aan de definitie van een EDC-mesje: niet te groot zodat het perfect past in een zijzakje van mijn broek, licht maar stevig, zeer gemakkelijk te openen, goede vergrendeling zodat men niet moet vrezen voor het onverwacht dichtklappen.  Het ziet er ook mooi uit en is perfect afgewerkt.  Niet zo goedkoop maar mocht ik het verliezen, ik zou onmiddellijk een nieuwtje bestellen.

Excellent product, beautiful made smooth operation. On the expensive side. Delivery was fast and well packaged . Thinking of buying one for myself as this was a gift....
