The double-sided Herold Solingen adjustable leather strop can be used for carbon steel knives. The adjustable system allows you to easily adjust the tension on your belt. One side of the belt is just natural where the other side has stropping compound to ease stropping. The material is very fine ‘Russian’ leather.  
  

 
We recommend not to store the strop in high tension since this will not benefit the flexibility of the leather.

Très efficace pour mes couteaux de sculpture sur bois.

Bijzonder praktisch om carbonstalen messen snel op te frissen. Niet zozeer na langdurig gebruik, als wel na enige tijd van rust. Met name de eenvoudiger soorten willen nog wel eens te maken hebben met corrosie op microniveau. Het lijkt dan alsof aan notabene beide zijden een hele kleine braam is ontstaan. Snel verholpen met deze spanriem.
