Zippo Butane Lighter Insert Double Flame 65827-000003

I've been using jet insert in my Zippo Armor since 2011. It was Z-plus Extreme 2.0 . Yeah, not official. But at that moment Zippo didn't make their own. On 2034 my insert finally died - it started misfiring every single time. So I decided its time to try the real Zippo insert. The impression is kinda mixed. Lets start with two major flaws, comparing to my chinezium z- plus First and main - NO WINDOW to control the fuel amount. Come on Zippo, its time to check the competitors before you actually starting a new product. How the user should know when its time to refill? Second and its sorta a minor thing. The flames on real Zippo are absolutely parallel. Maybe it's good for lighting a cigar. I don't know. But on chinezium they were tilted at a certain angle so they meet at a "working" flame height. It was waaay more convenient. Never thought it would be that important. The good things. First it works like a charm so far. The ignition button is not squeaky and feels like better quality. We'll see how long it will take. The spring latch that holds the lid is stronger. So there is no wobble if you shake the light er. Maybe I should have bought a single flame. It fits my Armor case tighter than my previous. So far no doubts about the quality only minor complaints about the design itself. Read and think if they are that matter to you.
