The **TOPS Knives The Bestia TBST-01** is a large and heavy machete. A machete, but a heavy-duty one. A type of love child between the popular TOPS EL Chete, with a traditional Kukri. But without it being a real Kukri. Due to the blade thickness of 6.4 mm it is more of a large and solid survival knife than a real machete you use to cut through small branches. No: this is a real tool. As if that wasn't already obvious with a weight of almost 900 grams.



The blade is made from 1095 carbon steel. This is extremely tough and strong. It is also easy to sharpen. Unfortunately it is not stainless, so it will form a nice patina in time. The same applies to the micarta handle: you will also start seeing traces of use on it after time. As such the knife will become unique in time.



The Bestia comes with an amazing kydex sheath. Something TOPS excels at. With it you can safely carry it on your belt or put it your backpack.
