The **Spartan Blades Astor** is a cool EDC pocket knife, designd by Les George. This model shares a lot with its VECP model. But is more affordable.



The Spartan Blades Astor is made to work. Suited for the more demanding tasks. For this knife Spartan Blades used decent materials. The blade, for instance, is made from CTS-XHP steel. It is a stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. CTS-XHP is also easy to sharpen.



The handle is made from G10. This is a composite material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. Many knife enthusiasts prefer G10 for their handles. It is incredibly strong and light-weight. It also doesn't require a lot of maintenance. The top layer is made from carbon fibre, for an extra tough look. You open the pocket knife with the thumb stud after which it is locked by a linerlock.

This knife is a part of the Bronze Series, or Field Grade. Made for people who are looking for quality, for a good price. Compared to other Sparten Blades knives this collection is made outside of the United States.

De zoektocht eindigt hier, het komende is in afweging met de kostprijs van 135,- ; afwerking 10/10. Materialen 10/10. Actie 10/10. Ergonomie 10/10.

G10 met peel carbon & XHP lemmet, met geweldige afwerking voor een hele goede prijs.

Dit is een van de fijnste messen die ik heb gehad, redelijk laag in gewicht, en gebouwd als een tank. 

Al met al, hoop ik dat ze deze in de productie houden, want als er onverhoopt iets met deze gebeurd in de toekomst, 100% zeker dat ik hem weer opnieuw koop.
