Out the box, the knife feels solid. It is a chunker. Very smooth action. Lock-up is good. The liner lock sometimes sticks, but it might need to be broken in. The metal is very thin where the liner lock starts to bend, but it does lock-up the blade well. Ergonomics are good for my medium to large hands. Blade is sharp, opening the knife feels very satisfying, especially with the thumb hole. The only thing I am not pleased by is the fact that the blade wiggles a little bit back and forth in the closed position. I assume because of the detent ball. But it keeps the knife closed. At the price of 35 euro, the Civivi Mini Praxis is a superior knife, but if you're looking for a chunkier option with good fidget factor and D2 steel this knife does the job.
