The **Mcusta MC-0185G Sengoku Uesugi Kenshin** is a remarkable Japanese pocket knife, with stunning details. The handle is especially beautiful. The micarta is 3D milled for a nice-looking grip, and this is functional too, offering better traction.


This version has an exceptional blade with a core made from SPG2 powder steel. SPG2 is an extremely hard steel that retains its sharpness well. The core is laminated between two layers of softer steel. This gives you the benefits of the hardness of the core, combined with the flexibility of the laminated steel. Mcusta finished this remarkable steel with a hammered finish. Truly special!


The laser engraving on both sides of the handle is unique - two swallows on the left side with the name Uesugi Kenshin in Japanese characters. Gunshin is engraved on the right side. This means god of war, or war hero. Uesugi Kenshin was a powerful samurai warlord in Japan in the 16th century. The two swallows are Uesugi Kenshin's kamon, or emblem/coat of arms. This warlord was one of the three warlords who united feudal Japan.


The Mcusta Uesugi Kenshin comes with a belt sheath made of nylon and brown leather.
