This knife is not fancy. It is a well made, heavy duty work knife. It locks strongly and opens easily. It needed some oil out-of-the-box to get the detente ball to move smoothly. (As did the other Fälkniven knives I own) After that, it has operated without anything to complain about. Just love that click as it locks!
