The **KA-BAR Short Fighting Knife 1259** is the smaller version of the KA-BAR 1214 USMC. Materials, finishes, shapes: all the same. Only the size was reduced to 75% of the original. As such it is easier to take with you.



The design of the KA-BAR Short 1259 is based on the USMC fighters knife that was used by the United States Marine Corps as a standard fighters knife for the marines. Ever since this knife is a part of the standard equipment of many soldiers. The handle is enhanced with protective parts to make sure you will never end up on the razor-sharp edge during heavy-duty use. The blade is made from 1095-carbon steel. This steel, however, is not corrosion-resistant. Fortunately the blade is enhanced with a black coating to make sure maintenance is a lot easier.



You can easily take the knife with you in the included plastic sheath.
