These **Flytanium Benchmade Bugout Scales Crossfade** are great after-market accessories for the Benchmade Bugout. They are well-fitting scales made by the experts at Flytanium. The great thing about these scales is that Flytanium didn't simply stick to the outer edge of the old scales, and just left it at that. No: there is also a bevelled finger groove for your index finger. And the holes that, for the original pocket knife, are enhanced with a D-shaped hole to prevent the screws from rotating are also nicely shaped like a D with these scales. Not all after-market scales have this!

These scales are made from micarta. It is wonderfully lightweight and also has a sleek appearance. The great thing about this Crossfade edition is that they are enhanced with stunning and ergonomic contours.

## Tips for installation

Adding new scales or other accessories is not without its risks! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We like to add a little piece of plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to help prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.

Before you start tinkering, always check the manufacturer's warranty conditions: for some brands, the warranty expires the moment you start working on the knife yourself. Installing scales is at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or the accessory.

Stabile, sehr passgenaue Griffschalen. Werten das Bugout enorm auf. Ich werde mir auch noch die Titan-Griffschalen von Flytanium zulegen. Man kann ja nie genug Bugouts haben.

Na eerst de originele met g10 vervangen te hebben kwam ik deze tegen. Prachtige vormgeving en fijn in de hand. Vind de prijs aan de hoge kant maar een alternatief van deze kwaliteit is er m.i. niet. Zoals altijd snelle service van KAT!

Les plaquettes sont de qualité et j'aime bien le rendu esthétique, elles sont vraiment bien adaptées au bugout mais on ne peut plus changer le clip de côté, ce qui est un problème pour moi.
