He was the king of trolls and elves, beings that until quite recently were a reality in the old farming society.  

Mod. NL4 Frej is not merely a beautiful and compact knife - since the blade is in laminate VG10 steel, convex ground, the knife is relatively strong.  

Frej is a slender, well balanced knife of the highest quality, completely handmade, like the larger models.

Prachtig mes. Ik had er veel over gelezen, net als over de meer populaire Idun. 
Mooie vorm met een ingetogen clip point. Stevig, maar niet te dik, convex geslepen lemmet dat zeer scherp is. 
Het (prachtige) handvat is voor mij groot genoeg, het ruikt naar leer en is bedoeld voor gebruik. 
De schede past goed bij de stijl van de Northern Light serie en is van stevig leer.
De Frej is een goed bruikbaar mes voor kamperen en jacht. Het is ook geschikt voor voedselbereiding. 
Hoewel de NL4 een brede 'partial tang' heeft die tot de schroef in de 'pommel' doorloopt,  zou ik met de Frej geen boomstammen klieven of omhakken, daar zijn desnoods andere en grotere messen voor, of nóg beter, een bijl en een (opvouwbare) zaag. 
Wat mij betreft is de Frej een aanrader,


Ik was al jaren op zoek naar een goed mes en met deze keuze ben ik meer dan tevreden, stevige prijs, maar wel een zeer goede kwaliteit en ligt ook fijn in de hand.
Ook de service ed. (met o.a. de bestelling, bezorging) is zeer goed verlopen. 

Ik zou zeggen: "Keep up the good work!"

Super snel geleverd echt dank ! , handvat vond ik iets te slank(grote handen), is moeilijk voor te stellen van een plaatje.
Stevige prijs.
Verders wel super afgewerkt en kwaliteit, blijft goed scherp na 3 weken vakantie.
