CRKT M16-03DB Deadbolt pocket knife, Kit Carson design

The knife is very well made, sturdy and reliable. The assisted opening is also reliable ad it makes the knife very safe in close position because it provides a strong retention. The knife can not be unassisted. Deadbolt lock is working well so far, no blade play and no pivot loosening. The aluminum scales are very sturdy but slippery. All the steel, blade, clip and liners are acid stonewashed, I appreciate it a lot, it makes the knife quite rust resistant and good looking. D2 it is a good steel for blades, no fancy stuff. Price is a bit high but not so much in my opinion. All in all a very good upgrade of the iconic m16, with a more grippy aluminum scales is would be perfect. Recommended.
