## Condor Country Backroads Machete type of steel

The machete is made from 1075 carbon steel. An incredibly fracture-resistant type of steel that can handle the chopping of this throwing axe well. With 1075 carbon steel, you always have to watch out for rust. Salts, acids and moisture will undoubtedly lead to corrosion. Always clean the blade after use, and occasionally apply a couple of drops of oil. You can truly enjoy this machete for years to come!

## Condor Country Backroads Machete handle

The handle is made from burnt American Hickory wood and Welted Leather. These are stacked leather discs which combine to form one comfortable handle. The steel runs throughout the entire handle. A so-called hidden tang. Even though the steel runs all the way through the handle, your skin will not come into contact with cold steel. As a result, the handle is both sturdy and comfortable.

Machette de belle manufacture. Belle qualité, agréable et légère en main, bon tranchant et solide. Ne vibre pas durant l'usage ce qui est top! (Contrairement aux bas prix dont le métal vibre à chaque coup de machette).
À voir à dans le temps si elle répond à mes attentes en usage intensif, mais au premières impressions je suis assez convaincu que c'est un excellent achat!
En plus d'être techniquement au point elle est aussi très jolie, ce qui ajoute au plaisir de l'utiliser! Dans son étuie je l'accroche à ma selle western pour l'avoir sous la main quand je randonne en forêt, c'est parfait!
