The **Cold Steel Trapper Blue Bone** is a classic slipjoint in the traditional Trapper pattern. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. The Trapper has two blades. One clippoint blade which is great for perforating and slicing tasks, and one spey blade for skinning and gutting game. Both blades open to one side. A real traditional, following the classic Stockman pattern, with a dash of Cold Steel.

You open the blades with two hands with the nail nick. When opened, the blade is held in place with a slipjoint. Not a full lock, only some resistance. This means you can legally carry these knives almost anywhere.

## Cold Steel Trapper material

The blades are made from 8CR13MoV steel. This is a type of stainless steel that is easy to sharpen, should it lose some of its sharpness over time. The handle is made from Blue Bone. Basically, this is cow bone that has been coloured and then beautifully polished. This is a truly classic handle material that radiates class and elegance.

In the case of traditional multi-blade knives, the specifications are based on the largest blade.
