The **Cold Steel 36MK Drop Forged Bowie** is a remarkable fixed knife. What's remarkable about it is that it was forged from one piece of 52100 steel, including the thickened handle. The result is a solid, balanced knife that can handle heavy use. The blade has a flat grind, so the knife still cuts with precision, despite the thickness of the blade. Faux deer antler scales are attached to the handle. 

52100 steel is a steel that was previously only used to produce ball bearings. However, 52100 steel also possesses some qualities that make it a good steel for knives. With a high carbon content, 52100 is a steel that can be sharpened to a very fine point. This does also mean that this type of steel is more susceptible to rust. That's why an occasional drop of oil will keep the knife in great shape.

The Cold Steel 36MK Drop Forged Bowie comes with a Secure-Ex belt sheath.
