With the **Case V-Sharpening kit sharpening system, 50153** you quickly sharpen your knives in a fixed 23 degree sharpening angle. Two Soft Arkansas natural sharpening stones with a grain size of approximately J600 grit are included. As such you never have to sharpen that long. This sharpening system also contains a bottle of 30 ml sharpening oil.

 The two soft Arkansas natural sharpening stones are attached to two wooden boards. You place these boards in the solid wooden base to make sure the sharpening stones are always at a fixed angle. Add a couple drops of sharpening oil on the stones to improve the sharpening results and the life of the stones.

 ### Sharpening stones from Arkansas

 The Case Arkansas natural sharpening stones come from the American state carrying the same name. It is the only place in the world where you will find novaculite, a mineral that these sharpening stones are made of. The stones are mined, cut to size and expertly flattened. Thanks to the special cryptocrystalline structure each stone will finely remove material. In addition, it maintains its shape and effective sharpening function for a long time, without having to lap or level the stone in the meantime. Because these are real natural products each stone will have its natural discolouration. As a result the stone can differ in terms of colour from the one on the picture. These discolourations do not affect the sharpening result!
