The **Benchmade H2O** is a great diving knife. The best part of the Benchmade H2O is that it is large enough to function as a full-fledged knife, but at the same time compact and slim enough to don’t hold you back underwater.


The Benchmade H2O has a rounded tip. As such you won’t be able to hurt yourself. The spine of the blade has been enhanced with a broad cutting hook that enables you to cut through 8 mm thick lines and ropes. The blade is partially serrated, which is also great when you need to cut through high-fibre materials such as rope.


In terms of steel Benchmade has chosen Böhler N680 steel: an incredibly stainless type of steel. After use you simply have to dry it properly and rub it down with a drop of oil. The handle is made from rubber that offers you enough grip even when you are wearing gloves.


The sheath is made from plastic. It is nearly impossible to lose the H2O with this sheath which has been enhanced with a strong retention clip that enables you to quickly remove the knife from the sheath.

Prachtig mes, zeer snel geleverd. Helaas past de schede niet aan een standaard 50mm harnas band. Banden voor aan het been waren meegeleverd, maar die gebruik ik nooit.

Excellent produit ( lame bien conçue pour la plongée sous-marine (bouteille), juste la bonne taille pour une prise en main, nul besoin d'avoir une longueur de dague de chasse)  mais cher.

Alors pourquoi ces notes?
Le visuel du produit (modifié depuis) montrait une lannière en caoutchouc BENCHMADE (élément indispensable pour sa fixation (sauf si il est fixé au gilet stabilisateur) et qui doit être bien conçu pour une bonne ergonomie en plongée).
J'ai reçu le couteau sans cette lannière.
Suite à ma réclamation auprès de K&T, il m'est finalement répondu que le couteau n'est plus fourni sans cette lannière...
et que K&T faisait un geste commerciale en m'offrant 10% de réduction sur l'achat de la lannière (la livraison serait à ma charge...)...
Ne la trouvant pas sur leur site, je leur demande la référence du produit sur leur site...
Je reçois la réponse que ce produit n'est pas vendu par K&T.
En conclusion:
Ne pas fournir cette lannière  (à 2,5€ TTC) pour un couteau de ce prix est mesquin.
Le SAV de K&T a manqué de professionnalisme.
