The **TOPS CUT 4.0** is a cool fixed knife, designed by Joshua Swanagon. This American designer designed the TOPS C.U.T. (Combat Utility Tool) as a knife for EDC and tactical purposes. Striking about the CUT is the large finger-ring at the end of the handle. Here you can recognize the influence of the Asian karambit knives. During normal use you stick your finger through this hole. For the more exciting tasks, however, you put your index finger through the hole. The blade will then be located beneath your fist.

 The blade is made from 1095-carbon steel. As the name already suggests this type of steel has a relatively high carbon content. This means that the knife can be sharpened really sharp, but it also means that this type of steel is not stainless. The handle is made from micarta. This is a strong composite material made from linen and synthetic resin.

 The TOPS CUT comes with a tight nylon sheath. It is enhanced with two flexible belt loops. With it you can hang it from your belt horizontally, but you can also move the loops. These 'loops', however, will also fit through a MOLLE web.

Deuxième fois que j'achète ce couteau qui est devenu mon outil préféré au quotidien et lors de mes sorties en nature! 

La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous avec des finitions parfaites sur ce design original et bien pratique. 
L'étui est facilement adaptable: inside carry, scout carry, sur un sac/porte-plaques ou même simplement en port traditionnel à la ceinture. Il est facile et discret à porter avec sa lame de 10 cm.
L'acier est vraiment rasoir en sortie de boîte et le 1095 de chez TOPS est excellent, facile à réaffuter (souvent le cuir suffit). 

Un couteau qui remplira sans broncher toutes les tâches à sa taille (on ne va pas non plus abattre un arbre avec!). 

Seul bémol, le dos de la lame ne permet pas de gratter un firesteel.
