The **Spyderco Urban** is a light-weight pocket knife with a slipit lock. This means that the knife isn't really locked. Combined with the limited blade length the Spyderco Urban can legally be carried in many places in Europe. The lack of a lock is compensated by the clear click when the knife opens. Halfway through closing the knife you once again hear a clear click. The index finger falls into the curve of the blade and handle. If the blade accidentally closes it is stopped by your finger which decreases the chances of accidents.

 The blade is made from N690Co-steel. A good type of steel for daily use that retains its sharpness well. The FRN light-weight handle feels comfortable in hand. With the deep-carry pocket clip you can easily and discretely carry the knife in your pocket.

Hab lange überlegt, welches Spyderco für mich als EDC geeignet wäre. Das Urban hat den Zuschlag bekommen. Es ist für mich perfekt. Die ist Größe ideal. Ein Leichtgewicht und es ist sehr schnitthaltig. Einfache Einhandöffnung. Ein simpel aufgebautes Messer, dass mir bei jeder Verwendung ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert. Wieder eine rasche, unkomplizierte Abwicklung von KnivesAndTools. Es macht eine nur Freude, Kunde bei euch zu sein - Danke!

Die Griffschalen fühlen sich anfangs extrem Minderwertig an bei dem amtlichen Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. 

Wenn man aber eine Woche mit dem Spydie hantierte merkt man schnell das haptik und Optik überragend sind und sich jemand beim Bau des Messers Gedanken gemacht hat. 

Allein das öffnen ist Zucker, und die Schärfe einfach perfekt, es liegt so gut in der Hand und das bei der Größe.
Für mich das perfekte EDC für Deutschland was einhändig zu öffnen ist. 

Ich will es nicht mehr missen aber der Preis , da hätten es 50€ auch getan. 
Eine G10 Griffschale hätte dem Messer ein hochwertigeres feeling gegeben.

Verarbeitung ist auch top , Klinge sitzt mittig , Schrauben alle optimal fest und auch optisch keine Mängel. 

Würde es mir noch mal kaufen 

Das kleine Spyderco ist ganz ok. Verarbeitung ist nicht so toll. Die Klinge ist im geschlossenen Zustand nicht ganz mittig und die Klinge hat ca einen mm Spiel. Also für ca 75 Euro kann man mehr erwarten.

Ich suchte ein Taschenmesser das leicht, nicht allzu groß ist und natürlich §42a konform ist. Spyderco hat mich schon immer interessiert, zur Wahl stand das UKPK und das URBAN. Für den Preis war das URBAN mit dem Klingenstahl die erste Wahl. Das Messer kam S...scharf, mit einem perfekten Klingenstand.Hier bei KnivesandTools passte der Preis, Verfügbarkeit und Lieferzeit, auch der Kontakt ist positiv zu erwähnen. TOP 👍🏼
