The **Spyderco Manix 2** has been one of the most successful models from the Spyderco collection for some time now. This version of the Manix 2 is the one that raises the bar a little higher for light-weight pocket knives. The handle on this knife is made from FRCP. That is a light-weight glass reinforced polymer. As a result the handle weighs next to nothing, but isn’t any less strong. The CTS-BD1N steel blade has been enhanced with a full-flat-grind with a stonewashed finish. When opened the blade is locked by the solid ball bearing lock. A user-friendly lock that, at the same time, ensures that opening and closing this pocket knife goes smoothly.

Heerlijk mes en ligt lekker in de hand. Super scherp geleverd en door zn lichte gewicht voel je m amper in je zak zitten. Helemaal geen speling op het mes en perfect gecentreerd. Doordat je hem op verschillende manieren kunt openen is hij erg fidget friendly.

Lightweight (but large) folder. Great for the right purpose, as an EDC, I'm not sure.

excellente surprise de voir que ce couteau est monté avec des vis (T8), contrairement à ces prédécesseurs qui étaient rivetés.
J'ai ajusté le ressort du ball cage lock qui était un peu dur à manœuvrer et tout lubrifié.
C'est un excellent couteau de travail (un peu massif pour un edc en france), extrêmement léger et ergonomique, parfait pour le gaucher que je suis.

It is almost perfect: light, super reliable and strong closure, the handle has a perfect fit in the hand… and the steel is good (not at the level of retention of the S30V… but almost);  100% recommendable.  I use it mainly to process cardboard, wood occasionally and food.  It's a great all-purpose knife.  Congratulations to the Spyderco team.

Overall absolutly fantastic value for money, snappy action, great lock-up, no play what so ever. Only down side is handle scales are frc and not frn, feels cheap, but great built quality
