The SOG Salute Mini is a handy pocket knife, ideal for EDC-use. A companion to always carry with you. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel and the handle out of G10, so you’ll have grip even with wet hands. Opening the knife goes very smoothly with one hand. You can place the thumb stud wherever you would like, which is really unique! You can create your own customized knife suited to the size of your hand. The blade is locked in the open position by a solid back-lock and the pocket clip is placed tip-up and can be used both for a left-handed and right-handed person.

Les +: couteau au look sympa, lame bien affutée (rasoir sortie de boite comme on dit...)  clip deep carry (port discret) et réversible pour les gaucher, lame clip point. Lame revêtement noir centrée.
Les -:  Pas super agréable au touché, couteau qui force à l'ouverture presque impossible à ouvrir d'une main sans forcer (même avec huile et usage répété). Alors je l'ai démonté, et là mauvaise surprise, les washers (rondelles) ne sont ni en laiton, ni même en teflon mais en alu basique (rondelles a 0,50€ les 20 chez casto!)  Alors pour un couteau à un peu moins de 50€ c'est complétement abusé, les marques chinoises elles a ce prix ont des finitions irréprochables, et avec des roulements a billes.

Typical good quality SOG knife, I used to work in a busy gun shop years ago and always used a SOG Airweight knife to cut open boxes of amunition and shotgun cartriges etc and it hardly ever needed sharpening, this knfe is the same 'raisor sharp' the build quality seems fine for the price.

This is certainly one incredible knife, the quality is immaculate. It opens with ease, and its locking mechanism works perfectly. Fits comfortably in your hand, without a doubt one of the best knives I have ever bought.
