Set of 4 office knives in “Classiques”-colours

The Opinel knife set really sets the mood at your dining room table. These knives have that true Opinel feel to it! The steel ring between blade and handle is polished on the side of the blade and matted on the other. They have flattened the right side so the knife won’t roll over when lying next to your plate.

The blade is made out of rust resistant 12C27-Sandvik steel. The blade is much sharper than the average steak knife and cuts through smoothly through any kind of meat. We advise to wash these knives by hand and not put them in the dishwasher.

This knife set comes in a deluxe cardboard gift box, which makes it a wonderful gift! 

According to the supplier these knives are dishwasher proof. The blade is made from stainless steel, and the wood of the handle is treated. We do, however, recommend cleaning the knives by hand. You can read more about the reason why [here](/en/ct/maintaining-a-kitchen-knife.htm).

Il ne faut pas s'attendre à de la super qualité. Effectivement, lors de l'aiguisage des couteaux, on obtient pas un tranchant rasoir. Malgré que mon aiguiseur soit de super qualité. Il me semble que l'acier est relativement mou. Donc mon avis est nuancé. À réserver uniquement à des personnes qui ne sont pas des fous de l'aiguisage. Ça coupe certes, mais pour moi ce n'est pas suffisant et satisfaisant. Bien à vous.

Superscharf und obendrein hübsch anzuschauen. Hab nach dem Kauf meine alten, kleinen Messerchen entsorgt. Diese kleinen Dinger machen Spaß.

Très belle qualité de couteaux d'office avec lames en inox. Ils remplacent allègrement celui que j'avais depuis 20 ans et que j'ai cassé, il avait avec la lame en acier. Attention bien sur à ne pas mettre au lave- vaisselle si on veut que le manche en bois ne s'abime pas, on en prend soin c'est un opinel. Je vais en commander encore pour faire cadeau. Ah j'oubliais je recommande aussi le site qui tient ses promesses pour le délai de livraison. Excellent.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
