The **SENCUT Watauga** is a modern edc knife with a special look. It owes its special appearance to the wharncliffe blade combined with the shape of the handle. You open the blade with the flipper. This mechanism runs really smoothly thanks to the ceramic ball bearings. Once opened, the blade will be locked in place with a strong liner lock. The blade has a large finger groove that allows you to hold the knife very close to the sharp edge. Perfect for tasks that require precision. 

## D2 steel blade

The blade is made from D2 steel. This is a strong tool steel that stays sharp for a long time and is also easy to sharpen. It's a type of steel that really wants to be used. You do need to be careful when it comes to moisture, because D2 is not completely stainless.

## Guibourtia wood handle

The handle is made from Guibourtia wood. This is a strong wood with a beautiful natural grain. Wood is nice and lightweight. So it's not surprising that wood has been used as a handle material through the ages.

Bought this one out of curiosity and im plesanty surprised.
Great ergonomics, good walk and talk, verry good edge retention.
For me is the best value for money knife of 2023.

Top mes om dagelijks bij mij te hebben. Wel een drupje locktiteop de pivot screw gedaan omdat deze aldoor los kwam. 

Ce SENCUT Watauga Cuibourtia est un couteau de poche au design original et aux finitions soignées. Il ne passera pas inaperçu. Ouverture fluide et verrouillage/déverrouillage par buttonlock efficace.

Well made, quality wood handles. 
No button-lock stick. 
Sharp out of the box, a real slicer of a knife. 
Really good for precision cuts. 
The finger flipper could be a little bit better design so that it's able to be pushes on longer throughout the opening sequence. 


Il s'agit de mon premier SENCUT. Ce Watauga m'intriguait. Il a un aspect tribal très sympa avec sa lame Wharncliffe noire et ses plaquettes en cuibourtia. D'une manière générale, c'est un couteau de qualité. Je ne suis pas déçu. Le grip sur le dos de lame et la forme du manche offrent un bonne prise en main. La détente est bonne. Il ne s'agira pas de mon EDC favori mais je le porterai volontiers tant pour son efficacité que pour son look.
