The **Rough Ryder Razor Trapper** is a cool, traditional pocket knife. But also not completely traditional: in addition to the standard clippoint blade you will also find a straight razor! At least, a razor-shaped blade. It is not so thin that we advice you to shave yourself with it, but it is definitely a cool feature. You open both with two hands and a slipjoint prevents unintentional closing, even though it won't completely lock the blades. As such you can legally carry this pocket knife in many places in Europe.



## 440A steel


440A is a fine, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It won't retain its sharpness for a really long time, but this is compensated by the fact that 440A is quite tough and easy to sharpen. This means you only occasionally have to maintain it a little to make sure you always keep a sharp knife close.



## Amber Bone handle


The handle is made from Amber Bone. This is cow bone that is enhanced with a texture and then coloured. This material has been used for over 100 years for knife handles and has become a *traditional* on its own. Bone, of course, is a natural material. As such small differences in terms of colour and shape, or any other small imperfections may occur.

Like Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Ryders these knives were named after, these knives are ready to be used. The prices are very appealing. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices. In case of natural materials such as wood, bone and horn it is possible to end up with small scratches around the pins. It is simply a part of the deal in this price range.

Petit couteau très bien fait comme d’habitude chez Rough Ryder. Lames très pratique et efficace. Le cran force est bien présent, j’ai aiguiser la lame rasoir à la pierre japonaise avec finition au cuir le résultat est parfait un petit rasoir.

J'aime l'originalité de ce couteau. Le manche amber jigged bone est très eau.

Couteau Magnifique et original, qui est arrivé pas tout à fait assez affuté, et avec un léger défaut sur le poli d'une des lames, mais pour le prix ça reste acceptable, ce couteau est destiné à l utilisation et pas à une vitrine. Il est vraiment pratique et beau.
