The **Real Steel Sidus** is a cool cooperation between Real Steel and Jakub Wieczorkiewicz from Poltergeist Works. This isn't the first time Real Steel cooperates with Poltergeist Works. Not surprising. Each cooperation results into a great knife!

 With the Sidus Real Steel took it up a notch. In addition to a great design, this version of the Sidus is enhanced with glow in the dark-shredded carbon fibre. This is a type of material that is normally only used on very expensive pocket knives. In the dark it looks like bolt of lightning are added to the carbon fibre. Remarkable! The fact that Real Steel also uses it on this relatively affordable EDC pocket knife is truly amazing. These scales are rounded for a comfortable grip on the knife.

 You open the Real Steel Sidus with the thumb hole after which a solid liner lock locks the blade. Striking about the construction of the Real Steel Sidus is the choice of only two screws to keep the whole together. Because of the size of the screws they still offer enough stability in combination with the backspacer. Another great feature is that you can see straight through the screws, just like the customs of Poltergeist itself.

Für mich ist das Sidus ein tolles Messer. Ich mag größere Messer. Wirklich groß ist es ja nicht, aber eben etwas größer als ein durchschnittliches EDC. Was mich als Sammler und Liebhaber angesprochen hat, ist das Griffdesign! Irre, die Idee mit den Karbonfasern. Sieht super aus und ist auf jeden Fall auch haltbar. Von den Leuchteigenschaften im Dunklen darf man nicht zu viel erwarten. Ich hab das Sidus mal mit der UV-Lampe angeleuchtet! Das bringt die ganze Schönheit zum Strahglen, aber normales Tageslicht schafft es nicht einmal, ein schwaches Glimmen in der Nacht hervorzubringen. In dem Punkt hat die Werbung also zu viel versprochen. Nicht aber bei dem Messer. Stahl super, Verarbeitung super. Preis-Leistung m.E. super. Es könnte noch ein bisschen schärfer sein, aber für den Preis ist das ok. Alles in allem ein tolles Messer! Und kein gewöhnliches obendrein - ein echter Hingucker.
