The **Real Steel G-Slip Compact** is a modern slipjoint pocket knife, designed by Ostap Hel. The G-Slip Compact is light-weight, razor-sharp and legal in many countries. You open it with two hands, and it doesn't have a full lock. There is only a slipjoint that offers some resistance. This is the Compact version of the G-Slip. Slightly smaller and lighter than the normal G-Slip.

The great thing about the Real Steel G-slip is that the slipjoint is enhanced with a separate half-stop. This half-stop is not a new concept. People have been adding this for hundreds of year. Real Steel, however, did one thing slightly different. The half-stop comes earlier than the regular half-stops. As such your fingers are safer, and it enables you to close the knife with one hand.

# Knivesandtools Exclusive

The handle of this knivesandtools exclusive is made from lightweight G10. And not just any G10. It has been enhanced with a stunning damascus pattern. Of course, it isn't real damascus, but it does look incredibly similar. Super cool! Real Steel calls this colour 'Volcano Green', a tough name that suits this pocket knife well. The blade is made from Japanese VG10 steel. This is a great type of steel that is easy to sharpen. So very user-friendly!

The slim deep-carry pocket clip finishes the knife! As such you can discretely carry it in your pocket.

Il y a longtemps que je cherchais un Gslip Compact!
Pour moi, les slipjoints sont les pliants idéaux comme EDC. Ils ne font pas peur à l'entourage et celui-,ci est discret. Non seulement par ses coloris mais aussi par sa taille.
Sa lame est un peu plus grande que celle d'un Victorinox Farmer X Alox et un peu plus petite qu'un Oinel n°8.
J'aime beaucoup le motif Damast Volcano Green des plaquettes en G10. Ça change des plaquettes classiques de couleurs unies!
Sa lame en VG10 et très tranchante en sortie de boîte.
Rien à redire sur les finitions, c'est du Real Steel!
Un pliant que je porte au quotidien régulièrement.
