The Opinel Pocket knife with wooden handle. Originally created by Joseph Opinel in 1890 for use by farmers. The Opinel Pocket knife is a famous, yet very cheap pocket knife for everyday use. You can get very small versions or fairly large ones. The series 'My First Opinel' is especially intended for children. The rounded tip minimizes the risk to injuries. Of course the blade is normally ground, to make it fit for real use. The My First Opinel-series is available in several cheerful colours.  
  


This pocket knife is equipped with the simple but effective Virobloc-lock system. The blade is locked by the ring that can be pivoted around the hinge point. A classic in true sense of the word.

Leuk mesje voor mijn dochter, voelt prima aan. Maar kan hier nog geen langer gebruik over vermelden. 

Kindermesje gekocht voor een van de kleinkinderen, is een soort van traditie geworden, vervolgens krijgen ze allen een leatherman als ze wat ouder zijn. Altijd alle tools besteld bij knives and tools en steeds zeer tevreden!

Goed degelijk stevig mesje voor m’n dochter, broers hebben dezelfde (ander kleurtje uiteraard)
Ik vind vooral het systeem om het mes te locken echt super, dat leer ik ze ook als eerste om dat goed te doen!👍🏼
