The **Morakniv Kansbol Dala Red** is a special edition of the Morakniv Kansbol, an all-round outdoor knife that will appeal to many people. The grind on the blade is striking. The blade is approximately 2.5 mm thick near the handle. Halfway through, however, the blade becomes thinner until the end, with a thickness of 1.0 mm at the tip. As a result, the Kansbol is a little lighter, but because of the thicker part at the end of the blade still incredibly strong. This version comes in Dala red, which is the colour of many houses in Sweden, especially the Mora region. 

The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. A stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. The scandi edge is razor-sharp and easy to maintain. A scandi grind is perfect for woodworking. Thanks to the thinner tip, the Kansbol excels at both detailed jobs and the more demanding tasks. In addition to wood work and such, we believe you can also use the thin tip to carry out kitchen tasks in the camp.

The spine on the blade is very sharp. This could appear to be a disadvantage, until you try to use a firesteel with it. The sparks will fly! You notice that this was clearly thought through.

The handle is made from polymer, with a TPE rubber finish around the core. Very sustainable, and provides plenty of grip. When you hold the Kansbol it will immediately give you a feeling of familiarity.

## Morakniv Kansbol Polymer Sheath

This Mora Kansbol comes with a polymer sheath. Simple and effective. You can easily clean the plastic and with the flexible belt loop you can safely carry it on your belt.

Gekozen voor de Kansbol en niet de Garberg vanwege de dual grind, de Kansbol is beslist 'slicier' dan de Garberg. Een snelle food prep test bevestigde: deze gaat mee als er ook eten bereid moet worden. Sheath is heel basic, maar lijkt het mes wel keurig vast te klemmen.
Het Dala red geeft het dit mes echt wel een andere uitstraling dan de andere handvat kleuren.

An excellent outdoors knife for its intended purpose of course. Very secure handle and very secure retention in its sheath. You can make feathersticks like nobody's business! As far as cooking goes its awesome too!! To sharpen it  all you need is a  fine ceramic rod and you will have razor sharp in a few swipes! 
Overall, excellent value for money and the Dala Red Edition is particularly pleasant!!
