The **LionSteel M5 CPM 3V Knivesandtools Exclusive** is an all-round fixed knife. This knife can easily be used as a survival knife, but is also great as a hunting knife or all-round camping knife.

This is a special edition of the LionSteel M5. Namely a Knivesandtools Exclusive. This means that this edition was specifically produced for Knivesandtools, and is only exclusively sold at Knivesandtools.

Remarkable about this Exclusive is the use of CPM 3V steel. This is an extremely strong, American type of steel. When you look up CPM 3V tests on Youtube you will see that this steel was improved to be extremely tough. As such this LionSteel M5 can handle its own! CPM 3V also retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. Do be careful around acids and salt: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. It can therefore form a patina. Or rust, if you don’t maintain it well. Fortunately, a couple drops of oil once in a while will go a long way.

Like the regular M5, the spine of this edition is nicely rounded. As such you can apply pressure with your thumb when you use the knife, without it becoming uncomfortable.

The handle of this M5 is made of orange G10. A solid material that provides ample grip. The orange color makes it easy to find, even in twilight.

Another unique feature of this edition of the LionSteel M5 is the leather sheath. At first glance it might look similar to the regular M5 sheath. When you look at the back, however, you see that this sheath is MOLLE compatible. It is namely enhanced with leather MOLLE webbing.

This LionSteel M5 with CPM 3V was only produced a limited amount of times.

Es gibt kaum ein besseres Messer mit 3v für diesen Preis!

Es ist zwar etwas robust hinter der Fase aber der leichte Hohlschliff macht das wett!

Ich habe Welse mit dem Spyderco Siren ausgenommen und dachte nimm mal das M5,
bei mir hat das besser funktioniert!

Würde ich definitiv wieder kaufen.

Kleiner Tipp:
Beim Kauf schalen einmal abschrauben, etwas Lebensmittelechtes Öl aufs Metall und wieder zusammenschrauben.
Achtung, ich weiß nicht, wie es dann mit Garantie aussieht, aber ich denke sollte kein Problem sein…

Ein erstklassiger, hochqualitative verarbeiteter Stachel hergestellt im Land der Pizza und Pasta! Alle Maße passen spaltfrei! Alles ist beanstandungsfrei verarbeitet! Das G10 fühlt sich mega bequem an und ein rutschen bei nassen Händen und festem zugreifen ist nahezu unmöglich, sollte es trotzdem passieren schützt ein echt geschmeidig ausgeformter Guard sowie ein mittelfeines (für mich schmerzfrei zu benutzendes) jimping davor, in die Klinge zu rutschen! Mit der echt toll verarbeiteten saftigen Lederscheide mit Druckknopf und Molle System wurde bei diesem handschmeichelndem workhorse an alles gedacht und die Klassik mit der Moderne vereint! Ich würde es wieder kaufen!

Das M5 ist seit Jahren, eines meiner absoluten Lieblinge und ein treuer Begleiter.
Deshalb hat mein Altes, in der Version Sleipner mit Santos Beschalung, jetzt die Knivesandtools Sonderedition, in CPM 3V mit orangem G10, als Partner bekommen.
Wie von Lionsteel gewohnt, ist die Verarbeitung auf höchstem Niveau.
Es liegt, bei Handschuhgröße 10, perfekt in der Hand und die Struktur der Schalen, ist super griffig.
Die Klinge hat eine top Schärfe out of the box und hält diese bisher auch ohne Einschränkung.
Die Lederscheide ist ebenfalls top verarbeitet, massiv und robust.
Dabei ist sie dennoch schön flach und trägt nicht übertrieben auf.
Sie ist Mollekompatibel und das M5 sitzt darin einwandfrei.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!
